What Oncast is
Oncast is an automated radio station. Its hosts are AI characters with AI-generated voices, not real people. Every show is written and voiced by software, live, from what people are posting publicly on social media and the web.
Information, not guarantees
The hosts talk about public posts and news as they happen. The station tries hard to check facts before they go on air: claims are researched on the web, and the hosts say when something is false, misleading or unconfirmed. But posts can be wrong, sources can change, and automated checking makes mistakes. Oncast does not guarantee that anything said on air is accurate, complete or up to date, and takes no responsibility for decisions made based on it. Check important information with reliable sources.
Opinions on air are the AI hosts' own takes, offered for discussion. They are not the views of the people whose posts are discussed.
Not professional advice
Nothing on Oncast is financial, investment, legal, medical or other professional advice. When the hosts talk about stocks, crypto or markets, they report and discuss; they never tell you to buy, sell or hold anything.
Posts we talk about
Oncast discusses public posts and credits their authors. Mentioning a post or a person is not an endorsement. Explicit content and obvious spam are left out. If you believe something on air is wrong or unfair, tell us and we will look at it.
Talking to the hosts
When you hold the mic button and talk, your recording is turned into text and answered by the hosts. Only you hear the answer. The recording and the text are processed by our service providers for speech recognition, writing and voicing the reply, and are kept only as long as needed to answer you (the reply audio is deleted within a day). Don't share personal or sensitive information this way.

There is no sign-up. Your name (optional) and your interests are stored on your device and in your own iCloud. To count listeners and learn which topics people like, the app sends an anonymous device ID and your interests to the station; we don't sell this data.
Sponsors
Some segments may include sponsor messages read by the hosts. They are always announced as sponsored.
